DAILY REMINDER <3
People love to shame consumerism. They act like wanting more is a sin, like desiring better for yourself is something to feel guilty about. But let’s be real—aren’t we all consumers? We’re constantly buying, upgrading, searching for the next thing that makes us feel alive. And yet, society makes us feel like we should be ashamed of that. It’s this weird cycle where we want more but are too afraid to admit it because we assume we’ll be judged. It’s like being stuck in your own reflection, unable to move forward because someone, somewhere, might say you’re "too materialistic."
But here’s the thing—why shouldn’t I want more? Why shouldn’t I want a nicer car, a bigger paycheck, a closet full of clothes that make me feel unstoppable? Why do we pretend that aiming for abundance is wrong when, in reality, it’s human nature? Every day, we consume. We eat, we buy, we experience. Even those who preach against consumerism are participating in it—it’s literally unavoidable. So instead of shaming ourselves for wanting better, why not embrace it? Not in a reckless, greedy way, but with class. LOL.
Seriously though—do you realize that God gave us heaven on earth? We forget that. We get so caught up in guilt that we stop allowing ourselves to enjoy life fully. And isn’t that the point? To live, to experience, to evolve? I refuse to apologize for wanting more, and neither should you. Manifest your fucking desires and do it boldly. You can have whatever you want. Stop feeling bad about it and start claiming it.
